We dined at 5:30 pm on a Friday prior to theatre. The restaurant was not busy which meant noise levels were low and service attentive. 1/2 price bottles of wine on Fridays is a very nice perk. We really enjoyed the food. We split a grilled shrimp with crab cake app. Our entrees were blackened rainbow trout and wild boar tenderloin. Both were very good. Desserts are not made on site but they were tasty. The restaurant is quite close to the theatres on King St, but being on a side street and in a hotel lobby (St Germain Mercer St) , it is a relaxing locale away from the bustle of King St. The decor of the restaurant was thoughtful and I really enjoyed having an easy conversation without the high noise levels present in a lot of restaurants.
