When I mentioned to the server who was filling our water glasses that one of the number one rules in the food service industry is to never rest the jug on the glass. The response was not what I expected. He proceeded to tell me he was an EMS and knew what he was doing. I tried to explain that there was a great deal of risk when you touched the jug to a glass that a customer already drank out of especially given the current public health concerns. He dismissed my concern by turning away while I politically speaking with him. I have decided the next time this happens I will promptly let management know and ask them to explain this concern to the server themselves. The restaurant food was very good. Hopefully there customers don’t get so sick that they can’t come back.
