I was craving a Caesar salad and the last time I had a tasty one was at a Landing’s location in the East end. So I looked up the closest Landing and booked a table for lunch. I already knew what I was going to order, Caesar salad with chicken. My partner who is vegan was struggling to find something besides a salad or fries to enjoy. We understood that due to the pandemic, a lot of things have downsized. We were seated with a friendly smile and the waitress at first sat us in a corner away from everyone and there was a big concrete partition blocking us from having a clear view of the outside. But it was just a matter of asking and we were moved to another comfortable table without a problem! After looking over the menu, we ordered and my partner had expressed to the waitress that she was interested in the trio dip but if she could have the goat cheese dip replaced with another dip that was vegan friendly. The waitress expressed how accommodating the chefs are and managed to work around it. The trio dip was beautifully presented, a great amount of naan, garlic focaccia and the most delicious corn tortillas I’ve ever tried! My Caesar salad was tasty and the chicken was tasty as well. However the portion could’ve been bigger for a large and the chicken portion was small as well. The plating didn’t showcase the meal well, and the portions were smaller than expected but the flavours were there. Staff was friendly and the ambience was great to have a nice lunch on a sunny day on the patio!
