Our party was overall satisfied with our experience. First time for me but the others had been here before. Cozy little place. Great service. The prices are somewhat reasonable. Our appetizers were not the best part of the meal. Either too small of a portion...for the price or not well fried (still cold inside). We all got pizzas. They were good although far from extraordinary. As an example, my pizza was the ´forestier’ which, per the menu description and reasonable expectation, should have had a few different kind of wild or fancy mushrooms. It was gravely lacking mushrooms in general and they were your basic white mushrooms and perhaps one other kind. Also, the truffle oil was in terms of taste non existent. They should serve it on the side or simply skip it and add more mushrooms. That pizza was, although not bad, a letdown for a mushroom lover. The bottom of the crust was leaning toward golden but also close to be soggy and raw-ish. Although I have seen much worse elsewhere, I have also seen better cooking of the dough. You can tell if the pizza man is good or not and if the pizza oven is good or not or at the proper very high temperature. Overall, with all due respect to the establishment, I will not be back soon and will continue my quest for a great, great pizza in the city...
