After visiting US and Canada for almost 10days, really looking forward to a bowl of hot broth Pho. After morning city tour in Quebec, read from TA about this restaurant and thought of give it a try. Initially was planning to lunch at Apsara Cambodia...Restaurant but after waited until 1135am and no sign of opening hence head to La Campagne which was no mistake. I had Chicken Pho ( As I don consumed Beef due to religious reason ) and my husband had Beef. Set lunch came with starter - Fried Spring Rolls and Pot Stickers which was pretty tasty. The Pho came with beans sprouts, mint leaf and lemons on the side and I asked for the red cut chillies with fish sauce, I tell you, that is anyone from Tropical country like us from Singapore which I was desperately yearning for and it did not disappoint me at all. Broth was tasty and white noodles was al dente. ( Said a prayer ? to Goddess of Mercy for pardon if broth was cook with Beef Stock which I really in need of comforting noodles in this cold weather.) The tapioca pudding was comforting too. This restaurant is Highly Recommended in term of Asian’s palette standard. Total cost including complimentary Chinese hot tea was just CAD$30.
