Own or work here?Standing out like a fresh tattoo on a burly forearm, The Vault Restaurant serves mouth-watering martinis, delicious wines and fabulous food. Once inside, you will be greeted by an eclectic, lively room, a diverse menu and tantalizing cocktails, including “the best Caesar in town.” First built in 1948, The Vault retains many of its original features, including the concrete bank vault.
Outside the private vault, guests are seated in the restaurant’s lounge or dining room, surrounded by an eclectic décor, including bicycle frames, ornate mirrors and a tiki lounge! The funky style combined with live jazz or blues music and you’ve got yourself a hip and quirky restaurant, with a cool, laissez-faire vibe. The Vault’s diverse menu features Northwest cuisine, offering dishes that are simple, yet rich in flavour.

Always good at the Vault
Great mussel appetizer. Said we were sharing the fish and chips but server didn’t point out it was only one piece of fish. We would have paid the extra $$ for it.
The service was great, they accommodated our party of 7 easily and food was great.
We went for our anniversary and really enjoyed ourselves. The food was great and our server was super friendly.

The menu had lots of choices, the restaurant has lots of great decor, and the servers are really friendly. The only downside was the meals came extremely slowly, and the dessert seemed to take 45 minutes after we ordered. With 2 kids and 2 seniors, 2.5 hours for a complete meal is way too long

Great night, food was so good, new chef? All four of us enjoyed our meals. Was a little humid inside but at least cooler than out. Will definitely be coming again.
The service was great. The bellinis were terrible, the feature of tartar for $17 was tiny and the curry prawn penne was way too salty. We were very unimpressed with our dinner here this time.
We all had the tasty prawns. The meal came with carrots which were really undercooked, zucchini and rice. The sauce for the prawns was delicious. The background music was too loud and we could hear everyone’s conversations as they were trying to hear each other at their tables. Because of the high ceilings music does not carry very well and spoils the atmosphere for a quiet dinner with everyone yelling to each other. The weather was very hot and the only fans were the ceiling fans. Thought there could have been a few fans situated around the floor space.
Hostess was lovely. Food was delicious. Service was fine but server was blah! Took our orders dropped the food off did not ask if we wanted pepper for our salads or dinners. It was our 40th Anniversary so it kind of killed the occasion. I don’t even know why were asked when we made the reservations if it was a special occasion. Not that I was expecting anything but a cheerful server would have been nice. Went elsewhere for desert.
We eat at the restaurant at least 1-2 month have always been pleased with everything. But I must mention that the last time we had dinner the seafood quartet was not that good the sauce had no flavor and my wife’s steak was flavorless and cold. We still will be going to the restaurant as we have never had any complaints.
