Upper Crust Cafe

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Edmonton, because of their consistently good cooking and reasonable prices. And then there is the irresistible baking. The side salad was very nice, as was the daily special of cod, rice and grilled veg. Dessert decisions are…hard here, but I settled on the tasty lemon pie. Garneau residents are fortunate.

This University area restaurant is long time, reliable standby. The food is always very good, if not super imaginative. Nothing fancy, but fresh and yummy. The service is friendly and the staff are well-trained. On this occasion we all ordered seafood and though the Thai…Curry with Shrimp is a personal fave, the Haddock, Trout and Fish Special were all very good. The Caesar and green salads made good starters and the house wines went down nicely. Not fine dining but a lovely dinner out with friends nonetheless. We will continue to return with regularity.

My husband and I have been enjoying several take away items from this restaurant for many years. Sandwiches,soups,potato salad,granola and some pastries. Always delicious. Lately we have tried their take away dinners. Nicely done. Quality ingredients. Tasty and a good portion and good value. Would…highly recommend. I cannot cook these meals for less money.
