Officer’s Pub

We dined in at the Officer’s Pub three times before Covid shut it down in November. Then we did a couple of take-out orders from Flanders Fine Foods ( same kitchen as for the Pub) one which was delivered and the other for pickup. The…staff here are very friendly and helpful, especially Natoma and Vanessa. We found the food to be very tasty, and well prepared. Delivery service was excellent. It is a very professional packaging job that they do here. the food is packed in re-useable plastic containers with sealed lids. Zero spillage. the only thing that these folks need to work on is the quality of their meats. On the first order that we placed, which was for BBQ Pork Short Rib ( I think that was what it was called) the pork was too fatty. On the most recent order for beef stew, the beef was too tough. They either need to use a better cut for the stewing beef, or it needs to be marinated / stewed / braised longer to make it more tender. Otherwise we love the food and the service and plan on using this service many more times.

We enjoyed our lunch so very much. The Officer’s Pub is beautiful, the staff are very good and the food was amazing. First off, we were so impressed with the Covid protocols. We thoroughly enjoyed our burgers, and also the eggs benny were served perfectly….We will definitely be back. Our server was exceptional and we were so impressed with everything.

We met some friends here to celebrate the end of the most recent lockdown. Lauren was our server on this occasion and she did a very good job. My friend and my wife each ordered the cheeseburger and enjoyed it immensely. My friend’s wife ordered…a chicken sandwich which she said was quite good but it seemed to be over-stuffed and hard to eat. I ordered a curry stirfry that was really good. We had a nice meal.

Felt just like home – when I was an Officer in the CAF and used to frequently attend military events here. Beautiful job or restoration, great staff and great fare!
