Friendly staff but food was extremely bland.

Friendly staff but food was extremely bland. They did have a good variety though. We ordered a Caesar and a Coconut Sour and both were terrible. For 3 people (2 liquor drinks) our bill was $95!!!! Not worth it at all! Im not one to…complain in reviews, so for me to write this means something.

We brought our family here for Sunday lunch and there was very little food left.

We brought our family here for Sunday lunch and there was very little food left. It was old and there were no beef selections except for tiny pieces in vegetables that looked like it was boiled. We had to wait 15 minutes for chicken wings…and the food on the salad bar was old and not washed we will never eat here again. Once again buffet Yangtze is going downhill like it did years ago when it was in the old location.

First, I want to express to the owner and management at this restaurant how great of a job they are doing.

First, I want to express to the owner and management at this restaurant how great of a job they are doing. I called on Friday and was surprised that they were doing the buffet which obviously due to Covid19 has been concerning to most of…us. After having the Manager explain on the phone their protocol we decided to try it. First, safety is a high priority and that jumps out at you immediately. When you first walk in the girl takes your temperature and asks you to sanitize your hands before being seated. Everyone is required to wear a mask before entering as is all of the staff. The dinning room is very well spaced out for social distancing. The restaurant is very clean. Prior to going to the buffet, all customers wear their masks on the way to and while selecting their food. You sanitize your hand. These are mandatory things you have to do and the staff is attentive to this and extremely nice in doing so. The plates is given to you by a staff member and they limit the amount of people in the buffet area which is one-way traffic with an entrance and exit. As we select our food there are several girls with a large containers of sanitized serving spoons and it gets changed out immediately each time so that it is only being used by one person or in our case by just my Wife and I. The staff was very helpful and as they usually are, well trained and polite. My Wife and I are long time customers of this establishment and over the years have had the occasion to interact with the owner often. It doesn’t surprise me that he has taken this so seriously and is doing so professionally as well. He has always treated his guests with respect. We had a great meal and most importantly we felt very safe. I am looking forward to return again soon.
