We made a reservation a week in advance and when we arrived we were ushered into a tent that had heaters but the heaters didn't cut the draft I was shocked that given our reservation we were not seated inside the restaurant. No one asked...us when we made the reservation about seating preferences. I also learned they plan to keep the tent open all winter so beware - we were there on a relatively mild November night. Also Keep in mind this restaurant is very expensive so the experience is just as important as the food and service. Our friends had the seafood tower which looked padded with tacos and sushi We ordered oysters that came late with the main. The Cloud Nine cocktail was really nice and the porterhouse was perfect. After 2 hours we asked to leave - I guess to be expected given how trendy Mati is. Overall I felt short changed by the experience and won't return.
