I came here for dinner with a friend on a Thursday night without a reservation. We were seated right away, and the restaurant was quite busy. Food: overall, pretty good. We ordered the mussels, the Red Shrimps, and Spicy Baguette Sticks. Came with fries and...bread. The mussels and shrimps (which I would just call prawns because they were large and I always think of shrimp as small) were really good. The sauce was delicious for both of these. The spicy baguette sticks are like pate with hot sauce in a little mini baguette sandwich - i liked it, but I wish it wasn't spicy. The fries were really good, golden and cripsy, and i liked the mustard sauce that came with the fries. Service: Servers were friendly, and they even gave us a complimentary piece of the strawberry tart for dessert, which was really nice of them, and also really delicious. Vibe: Not high end, almost feels like a diner or a lowkey Vietnamese restaurant. The "Cafe" in the name is definitely appropriate. I don't think anyone dresses up to eat here, even though the food is elevated and you could probably find it in a nice restaurant, but the decor here is just very casual. I personally wouldn't come here for a special occasion just because of the decor, even though the food is good, but only because I like a whole experience if I'm going for a special occasion. Overall, I would return to this restaurant.
