This is my go to Chinese Hong Kong Cafe in Vancouver. But I would like to apologize to those who received in adequate food and service at this restaurant because I haven't received bad service or bad food coming here. The food especially has always...been outstanding. Cafe Gloucester is the only Chinese Restaurant that serves 10 healthy grain fried rice with black cod. Also, we had green beans with fish sauce. As it is also Chinese New Year's they also served Lucky Sweet and Sour Pork which was delicious. So again the food was outstanding. As for the service, we have been served with the utmost respect and hospitality when we have been there. The waitresses who have stood out have been Ann, Suki, Sa, Manager Cathy and Owner Eva. They have always gone above and beyond the call of duty. They are polite and greet us every time we arrive. I really like Cafe Gloucester and hope it was only an anomaly that the service was bad because the service and especially the food have been excellent when we go there.
