Service and ambiance is really what pushed this to a 3 star instead of 2. It's like a sleeker version of a Keg and with better service. But the food preparation and execution is a dud. If you have steakhouse in your name, you better be able to at least cook a steak to the proper level. I ordered my steak medium rare as per usual and received a rare, which would have been fine but it was way too salty. Service was great as the noted the error and took it back to try again. The manager came over and apologized and removed the charge without any hesitation or any prompting by me. But unfortunately the second steak came out even more rare...almost blue near the centre but at that point I didn't want to say anything since they took the steak off the bill and I didn't want to wait again. The Chop Experience dinners include a starter salad or soup (caesar salad, wedge salad, French onion soup or feature soup) plus seasonal vegetables and your choice of wasabi infused mashed potatoes, wild rice pilaf, baked potato or Chop cut fries. That can be done with any steak meal. The12 ounce new york striploin chop experience ($39.95) - the portions are pretty generous. The caesar salad was very garlicy which I like and the wasabi infused mashed potatoes didn't have any noticeable wasabi. The seasonal vegetables were a tad over cooked. But once again, service was great so points for the front of the house. Though they really need to work on cooking the steak properly.
