We had arranged a lunch at Anthony's with a friend, since it is close to where our friend will be tomorrow. The establishment's phone was not answered during the afternoon but they did respond promptly to the voicemail, before "opening time" 5 PM. Initially I...had called the Wellington St. site which was listed under "Call" on TripAdvisor but they are unable to book for the Bank St. location. The website and the TripAdvisor review are very clear that Gluten Free options are available at both sites, which in our case is a medical necessity due to Celiac disease. The staff member that called back informed us that, at the moment, their Gluten-Free supplier has not come through and therefore, we cannot eat there. Unfortunate. Doubly unfortunate that the web site was not updated and we were misled... We will now have to find another venue on short notice for our lunch tomorrow.
