With so many house-made, gourmet burger places opening up around town. It would take a very special and tasty product to lure me into making a special drive to seek it out? After hearing so many good things about 'Burgers Park' wonderful products. Tonight, I...decided to brave lousy 404 traffic, head down from Richmond Hill and give the place a try. I was so glad I made the trip. The place, located inside a new business park complex was not the easiest of place to find. No street parking was in sight. Only underground parking was available. Both the House-made Gourmet 'Smashed' Burger and the Crispy, honey mustard glazed buttermilk fried chicken sandwich we ordered were superb! The beef pattie nicely caramelized and juicy, whilst the chicken sandwich was equally tasty with ultra-crunchy coating and juicy interior. The light, slightly sweet Brioche bun used was a perfect choice! The Yukon Gold house fries were crispy to the end. Our order of one burger, one sandwich, one Yukon gold fries and unlimited-refill soft drink came to $27. A reasonable price point for such fine and generously sized products. Our only complaint was the unbelievably long, half hour wait! And that was for a front-of-house with only two other customers! I hate to imagine the chaos during busy lunch hour?!More
