I go to the Keg all the time over many many years. This was first day that outdoor dining opened due to Covid restrictions easing. I always enjoy The Keg and this experience was very good except for the following. Both the prime rib and my blue cheese bacon wrapped filet mignon were cooked well done, instead of “medium well” as requested. Also my blue cheese crust was not added to my steak. The waiter apologized profusely but did not take my meal back, rather I waited for a side of the blue cheese crust to be made and brought to my table. This took about 5 minutes, and by then my well done steak was cold and quite dry. My daughter and I were offered a free desert but we were too full to accept. The waiter took $10 off my bill. I am OK with entire experience as this doesn’t happen often to me at The Keg. I love the restaurant and will keep coming back. Just letting you know as it could of been handled a bit better and steaks should not be well done if requested a medium well. Service and ambiance were excellent as always.
