My first visit was fine. The server was great with my showing me what is GF on their menu, and she checked with the chef when I had questions. The second visit didn't go as well. My friends and I went for a birthday lunch,...and despite there being many empty tables, we were told the wait was at least 15 minutes. When we asked if we could at least sit at a table and order a drink, they begrudgingly said we could wait at the bar. I hate this tactic! If you're short staffed in the kitchen, apologize for that and tell us, "We are happy to seat you and bring you a drink, but we can't take your food order for about 15 minutes until the kitchen staff catches up on orders." How hard is that? It humanizes the situation and we would have been happy to sit and visit while we waited. If they really cared, they might even comp a drink. As it was, they obviously didn't care if we stayed or not, so we didn't. We went next door and had a lovely lunch at a completely different type of place.....where we didn't have to wait.
