My first trip to Thanjai Restaurant was a truly unique experience. I expected the usual Indian cuisine, but experienced something pleasantly different. The menu selection had many uncommon dishes, and thanks to my experienced servers Sri and Anurag , I chose the Ghee Crispy Dosa...with Masala on the side which had a pleasant taste and was much larger than I expected as the photos illustrate. I also tried the Cheese Dosa which had a nice cheesy flavour. I rounded off the unique meal with rava kasari, a sweet and nicely spiced, cream of wheat based dessert and their Chai.
