I've been coming to Miss Browns since it first opened, and it's one of my favourite Exchange District restaurants. They make their own smoked meats in-house and the special care and attention that goes in to preparing their dishes doesn't go unnoticed. That said -...this is not a BBQ joint, so don't expect Texas style brisket. The menu has expanded over the past few years, as has the service. Definitely worth a stop for breakfast or lunch. My only complaint is the smoked salmon, I've had it a couple of times and been disappointed in both the portion size, and the fact the fish itself was a bit tough. Taste was on point mind you, but otherwise I'd probably pass on that.
