My daughter and I stopped in for lunch and ordered a few favourites. I ordered Pad Thai with pork because my preferred option of shrimp was not available. I started with some spring rolls but was surprised to find them served with BBQ sauce rather...than a traditional plum sauce. My daughter had a coconut curry soup which she liked but the veggie dish that she ordered (served with white rice) was not very tasty. She said it tasted like soap. My Pad Thai was okay but there was too much liquid; it needed to be thickened more. The rolls were $7.00, Pad Thai $9.50, and the soup and veggie dish were $9.00 each. My soft drink was $2.00. For a lunch costing $36.50 before tax and tip, it was a disappointment. I wish we had wandered further down the street to check out other eating options. On the positive side, service was good and the establishment is clean and cheerful.
