Went with a reservation on a Friday at 7 PM. Was not busy. Festival and a couple picnic benches plus bar stools for seating in a comfortable casual room. Nice C & W music playing at a reasonable volume. Water and menus arrived immediately. Our...first visit so we had a bit of a dilemma ordering. Eventually we settled on the quarter pound (other option is a half pound) of brisket, smoked pork & ribs. For sides the Mac N Cheese, Coleslaw and Potato Salad. We liked all the meat entries. The ribs were the favourite followed by the pork. The brisket was tender and juicy but a bit too much fat for our liking. The Mac N Cheese was a hit as was the coleslaw. The potato salad was a disappointment as the potatoes were undercooked. We ordered too much food. One order each of the 1/4 pound would have been enough. Will think of some kind of sharing arrangement next time. There is beer, wine and drinks available. The wine is a can of white or red Big House brand ($10) and that’s it. A Manhattan ($12) was rated good. We think Dixie’s is a good place for BBQ so we will return. Service was friendly and prompt, credit cards accepted.
