Began at the bar and our bartender Allen could not have been nicer. A ceasar and a T&T were surprisingly reasonable at 7.00 eastern. Pretzels were a nice nibble. Moved to the dining room to order dinner. I opted for the special soup, ginger creamed...carrot full portion. It was so delicious and smooth. Oyster crackers were on the side. My husband added a cup of a tomatoe vegetable soup and it was very tasty too. Both were served hot. Entrees were a Cobb salad for me and the pickerel dinner for hubby. My salad was huge with lettuce, cheese chunks, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, chopped egg, chicken chunks and carrot strings, and a half avocado. Nice dressing on the side and there was enough to bring home some for lunch. Very good and so fresh. The pickerel and fries were also nice and tasty. Plentiful portions and served hot with ketchup and a tartar sauce on the side. No room for dessert. Allen checked on us regularly and the chef stopped by as well. We felt very appreciated and not rushed at all. Medium pricing. Comfortable and quiet.
