We shared one of everything on the 3 course menu and it was all exceptional. First indoor dining for us in a year of course. Our waiter was very helpful but not overbearing. The Crab Louie is on two endive pieces (so small) but just...right to start your meal and the gazpacho was super fresh. We also shared the Scotch Egg - lovely. Best beef tenderloin in a long time and the halibut was cooked to perfection. They were making new crusts for the lemon blueberry tart so we had to wait a bit. Well worth it! Thanks. The overall menu is small but everything is done to perfection. Sometimes that is better than having too many choices. Alvins is a little hidden gem that is still being discovered. Once the live jazz band comes back, it will be well worth a visit. If you want quiet, ask to be seated in the library part where you can hear and possibly see the band but at a lower volume. We’ll be back for more.
