It was a Friday night 4 months into the pandemic and I just had a hankering for wings. I never really considered who offered Hamilton’s best wings - wings are pretty much the same, so long as they aren’t fro the big box ‘Buffalo Pigeon...Wings’. A quick google search brought up Red Rockets as one of the best so I gave them a whirl. 20ish nice sized, juicy, right out of the fryer pieces along with crispy wedges arrived in 20minutes through friendly delivery service. I ordered them breaded, but they offer them unbreaded. You can order them extra saucy. There’s a bunch of sauces on offer but the one that stood out was the Jamaican hot sauce. I expected standard cinnamony, all-spicy jerk sauce, but it was a delightful hot sauce comprised of fragrant Scotch Bonnet Pepper freshness. Marvellous, not over the top hot, and like no other wing I’ve ever had. Next time, I’ll try them without the breading.
