Unable to eat at the restaurant due to COVID-19 restrictions, we ordered a takeout of Onion Pakora, Hyderabadi Chicken dum Biryani, Laal Maas Curry Bowl, Chilli Chicken and Guttonkai. In our previous 4 visits over the past 6 months, we had not ordered any of...these items except Onion Pakora (our all-time favourite!). If our spirits needed lifting during the grim COVID lockdown, this meal did it a few times over, satisfying my wife's and my appetite for three meals, perhaps four. The order was ready ON TIME and by picking it up, we saved ourselves the option of tipping a typically apathetic Ubereats driver, but more importantly, we saved the restaurant the 25-30% that Ubereats skims off the top of the bill. The dishes were well packed, ready to eat even after a 20 min. drive home, and the the effect they had on our taste buds was sublime. Chef Sanath and his crew continue against very difficult odds to exceed our expectations. We hope to return very soon to joyfully send off the lovely month of May. Don't hesitate. NH44 has been destroying the unfair myth that Indian restaurants charge too much for the quantities they serve. NH44 delivered on every front. Thank you Chef Sanath for lifting our COVID gloom.
