Overall a bit disappointing. It’s been a few years since I’ve been. The service has fallen significantly. This used to be a very special night with exceptional service. We were pressured to order immediately. Our appetizers were prompt and delicious. But the steaks took 45 min and we almost missed the start of the game. The steaks were excellent and cooked perfectly but overpriced. We had a medium valued wine and the bill was well over $300 for two people. The place was packed and noisy, which I don’t mind, but I guess popularity leads to complacency. Our server seemed distracted and insincere and had no idea what was going on in the kitchen. It’s a fun experience eating so close to the action with the option of returning at intermission but I sincerely hope improvements are made. The Hot Stove used to be a memorable evening and a reprieve if the glorious Leafs didn’t happen to win
