I was quite surprised that although the tea room itself is lovely, the length of the room is open to a much used corridor used by countless passersby and only separated by some potted palms from the tea room.
I was quite surprised that although the tea room itself is lovely, the length of the room is open to a much used corridor used by countless passersby and only separated by some potted palms from the tea room. There is considerable noise as a...result coming from this corridor. On both my visits to the tea room this was a problem. The tea was fine but the sandwiches seemed tired and rather bland. It is not worth the price charged by the Empress.
