While our waiter was very nice and attentive, the owner Rosa was quite the opposite. When we asked why only half the staff was wearing masks, (legally required in Ontario indoors and if tables are not 2m apart outdoors) she responded that no-one else seemed...to have a problem and that people wanted to feel free. We mentioned that we felt uncomfortable and she reluctantly told the waiter to wear a mask, continuing not to wear a mask herself while serving the customers. Her response was shaming and completely inappropriate. The restaurant itself was beautiful and the food was nice however I will not be going back and will let others know of my unfortunate experience there.
