This experience made me not want to go back. I decide to order two fries from the pickup counter. In theory, it followed the public health measures by having plexiglass and contactless payment. Moreover, once you paid you were directed outside to the window to...wait for your food order. However, upon entering the customer service was unpleasant and the person was nonchalantly chewing a stick in their mouth. I noticed from the window that the person preparing my food had no gloves or mask and was using their hands to handle my food rather than using thongs or any other utensils. I let them know that I thought it was unsanitary (especially during a pandemic) and they could have followed the protocol like other restaurants after I was served. The person got defensive, understandably so and presented me with excuses. In fact, they told me that they washed their hands. I can say that from watching them preparing my food, they did not wash their hands and if I perhaps missed it, they proceeded to touch their face, apron(which is dirty) and cash machine. Overall unpleasant and disappointing service with so so fries. I've been there before but the fries were very oily this time. Sanitation is key and Frite Alors was not up to par.
