It is rare for me to give unbounded praise for a meal and a restaurant. This one would have six stars instead of five if I was able to give such a rating. I bought this "dining experience" at an auction and had no idea...what I'd purchased. The money went to create healthy meals for toddlers and preschoolers in a YMCA program and at that point, that's all I cared about. I can't say enough good about this dining experience. It's a bit out of the main shopping area but that meant shady street parking right in front. We were warmly greeted by the server. it was quiet when we arrived at 2:30 but within a half hour it was quite busy. Our lovely server explained our options, made adjustments for an allergy, brought tea samples to give us an idea of some of their favorite teas and made recommendations based on their top selling items. The tea house is spare but elegant; love the colors and the furnishings are comfortable. The food arrived on a three-tier tray. Our server lovingly described each item. We were not disappointed. Visually gorgeous and every bite a different experience. The teas were exceptional. We were there nearly two hours (our choice) which allowed us a fine visit. We were well cared-for throughout our meal.
