Last year my daughter and sister went to Jackalope's on the recommendation of a friend. It was not the type of place they thought she would have suggested. Heavy Metal music playing. Dark space. Both were more than pleased with their visit so when I...went to BC this year, daughter insisted that I go to eat there also. She had mentioned the bathroom so I had to take a look. Very creative as long as you don't mind being watched by hundreds of pictures with animal heads replacing the human ones!! The food was sooooooo good! I had ribs with roasted veggies and corn bread. Sis had salmon. She is not usually a big eater but this time she finished her meal before me. My meal came in a sizzling skillet and it was HOT for the full time it took me to finish it. Dessert offerings are limited and neither is GF so that, plus being full , meant we did not try them. It was a great experience. It is amazing to see the size of the small kitchen that produces such great food! Congrats to all the staff.
