This place is a neighbourhood hidden gem. The menu is somewhat limited, but the quality of food they serve, will more than make up for it. It’s better to be really good at a few items, than be just ok with a vast menu selection....Their menu does seem to cover all the bases. They specialize in fire rotisserie Chicken and from what I’ve heard, it is excellent. It has a very subtle, but nice wood fire flavour. I ordered the Sunday Roast. It is a roasted Striploin, served with Mashed Potatoes, Broccolini, Tri Coloured Carrots, fried Brussel Sprouts, Carrot Purée and Diane Sauce (Mushroom Demi with Dijon and Cream). The Sunday Roast was spectacular. The Striploin was roasted perfectly. It was tender and flavourful. The Mashed Potatoes, Broccolini and Brussel Sprouts were nicely prepared and were very tasty. The Tri Coloured Carrots added a nice touch to the meal. Something that really stood out was the Carrot Purée. It was delicious. Hopefully this is a staple accompaniment to the meals here. Overall, this Sunday Roast was spectacular. The flavours of all the items on the plate complimented the Striploin superbly. Service was friendly and accommodating.
