An intentionally inclusive, community-based, non-profit quiet space for coffee/tea, some home-made goodies, reading, meetings or events. The quaint space offers some handcrafted items for sale, has very friendly volunteer staff (not-for-profit based), many books to peruse while waiting or while enjoying your homemade food/beverage purchase....Other patrons were friendly, offering smiles and a Hello. Some patrons were quietly reading, while others were open to chatting. We arrived for tea/dessert, and possibly a drumming circle/session in the space next to the cafe. The drumming had enough space for two more, so we joined in the healing/learning circle. It was a wonderful led experience. All the prices were reasonable for the quality, and the cooked items were clearly homemade, which added more appeal. I strongly suggest a visit with an open mind to something slightly different than you may expect. I don't think you would be disappointed. We will be back, and hope to support this initiative whenever possible for the varied programming.
