Carens is definitely a neighbourhood gem! The room is lovely, polished and quaint. Our service was perfect. The food is superb! We ordered the grilled octopus which was perfectly cooked, tender and beautifully presented. My main was scallops that were done to perfection in a delicate beurre blanc sauce. My husband ordered the Sunday lobster mac and cheese which was delicious. Tender lobster in a buttery cheese sauce was rich, but somehow also not too heavy. A very enjoyable experience overall. We will definitely be back and bring friends!
