This is a friendly local bistro/coffee shop, where couples, families, or individuals can enjoy excellent food without feeling rushed or disturbed. Our Sunday breakfast for 5 people was enjoyed by all, and sampled various items on the menu. My own pancakes were freshly made, and...the Eggs Benedict was also highly praised. There is a narrow but reasonably roomy patio outside but it is on the busy corner of W 1st Ave and Cypress. Inside is cosy and clean. We returned twice more, before leaving Vancouver, and each time was a real pleasure. Popularity with local people is always the highest recommendation too.
