Once upon a time Broadway west of MacDonald was an area full of Greek restaurants and bakeries. Some survive but, now like Vancouver itself it is multi ethnic with a variety of restaurants principally Asian and Middle Eastern. Pure Delight is a nice find if...you are in the area, not a destination restaurant as there are many Vietnamese selections on Victoria Drive, but it has good basic Vietnamese food and coffee, with an adequate if not extensive vegan section on the menu. The banh mi sandwiches are well flavoured and the soups large and very tasty. The decor is basic modern. Free wifi and authentic Vietnamese iced coffee with condensed milk if you like it that way: I do. Good for lunch or a casual inexpensive dinner.
