Anyone who has grown up on the west side of Vancouver must know about Moores. This long standing institution on West 41st Avenue is in the building that originally housed the Kerrisdale cinema. The staff know they are usually dealing with regular customers and treat...customer as such. Breads, cookies and danishes are freshly made every day; the soups and sandwiches offered at the deli counter are made to order and perfectly priced. It's location is central and is only a half a block from the Kerrisdale parkade - possibly the last free public parking area in Vancouver.
