Well, first experience was the Valentine's day special menu. I'll begin with the food. Octopus app: Absolutely spot on! Cooking Octopus is extremely difficult and they nailed it. Nice subtle smoke flavor, easy to cut, not at all rubbery. Excellent flavor when combined with the...rest of the dish. Five Stars. Kangaroo entree: Ah, well. Very good, not quite on par the the Octopus. A tad overdone, but not too much so. Flavor similar to Antelope with a texture of Moose. No gamyness at all, subtle sauce served with this complimented well. 4 stars. Cheesecake dessert: Ok, just ok. Decent cheesecake, no better or worse than average. 3 stars Service: Slow, seemed somewhat uncoordinated. 40 minutes to get dessert out. Mains ready right on the heals of the apps. Noisy. Very sparse decor means all the sounds echo throughout the building. Lots of noise from the kitchen, banging, dropping things, etc echoing through the whole establishment. Very flimsy chairs and tables, sure, we weren't dancing on them but it felt like high end food being served in a donut shop. Oh, and the paper under my friends dessert was "special" to say the least. You would expect them to remember to remove that before serving LOL Conclusion: The food is excellent and well worth enjoying. The rest of the experience.......not so much!More
