We were staying at the hotel. Besides the buffet breakfast we ate two mornings in a row, we also had a later lunch at the restaurant the first day (Sept 21st) and then dinner in the lounge on our last evening at the hotel (Sept...22nd). There is one kitchen that serves both areas. That kitchen does a fantastic job on all accounts. Lunch on the restaurant side was ok. There are lots of tables to sit at, and at 1pm it's very quiet. The food was great but service was just ok - our waitress seemed impatient for us to order, while waiting for our food my companion accidentally dropped her eating utensils on the floor right in front of the waitress who stepped over them and kept walking without an offer to help (I picked them up and got fresh utensils for my companion myself); then later on she asked if she could give us our bill early so she could go home. Maybe she wasn't feeling well? I had the chipotle chicken burger and fries for lunch - it was absolutely amazing. And arrived to the table very hot - like, don't touch the plate hot. For dinner we ate in the lounge. When we first arrived, there was no one there so we went to the restaurant to tell them we wanted to eat in the lounge and they sent someone over right away. The ambience of the lounge is very nice and our server was fantastic - a very attentive and charming young man who almost talked us into dessert but we had willpower lol. For starters we had the calamari, which was very tender and very tasty. For our entree we both had the 10oz sirloin which was cooked to perfection. It came with roasted asparagus, roasted potatoes and veggies. It was so very very good.
