I have been driving by this restaurant for weeks on my way to and from work. Finally went there for lunch last weekend and was pleasantly surprised. The decor is quaint and inviting. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The food was extremely fresh and...full of flavour. We each had an order of the salad rolls with pork and shrimp. And we both ordered the deluxe vermicelli. The pork with the vermicelli was tender and seasoned to perfection and the spring rolls were fresh and crispy. The vermicelli, which I have usually had in a bowl, was served on a large plate. The presentation was beautiful. It took a few minutes getting used to eating it off a plate rather than out of a bowl, but we managed just fine. I would definitely go back and suggest if you enjoy quality Vietnamese food you should definitely give the Saigon Star a go!More
