I had no idea what to expect in terms of a dining in experience, I only had heard that it's supposed to be the best fish & chips around, so last Sunday when in the area, I thought we check it out. Well it definitely...is not a place one should plan to dine in. Not that in an emergency one can't sit down in this "take out", or should I say "take away" like the British, and enjoy a meal; however it is a very simple counter space with a couple of basic tables and chairs. Most fish dishes with cips are in the 8 dollar range with a special at $ 6.00 (pollock), but the Halibut went for $ 12.00 (one piece). The quality of the fish was good and the batter not too thick, but a little bit oily. The chips (fries) were okay. Again, perhaps the best fish and chips to be had in the Coxwell Dundas area; however, definitely a take away place.
