I'm very careful to write not-very-positive review. Specially when people are nice and servers are trying their best. I also understand the covid additional pressure on small businesses. All of that doesn't explain why 2 (out of 3 that we used) outdoor wood chairs were...sticky. May be better cleaning than just wiping? Or that's time to replace those? We were on very hot day. I understand restaurant can't control outdoor wasps and flies. And probably there are not too many of such hot days in Montreal. But simple fan could be helpful. The food was good! Not exceptional, but on the level with other good breakfasts we had in different places in Montreal. Location is not too estetic (I mean surrounding building, the neighborhood). I can totally understand locals coming here. But for tourists... doesn't worth it. Server was great! Very friendly. Little too busy. For example I wanted to ask for coffee refill, and I didn't have a chance until I already finished my meal.
