This tea shop just opened on 2020-02-22. It is their second location in Toronto, but it is smaller than their uptown location. They sell a typical series of teas similar to other tea shops. They also sell souffles served in a round see-through ball ($10.99...to $12.99). Soon they will include a lobster souffle (interesting)! They are starting to add soft serve ice cream also ($5.49). The interior is whitish and well-lit. Even the menu at the order counter is back-lit. Of course are there whale-inspired decorations. Curiously there is a little alcove under the order counter with two huge mirrors at 90 degrees and some imitation boulders (possibly for kids to play with?). The staff are very helpful and courteous. I wanted to order a drink that is layered and colourful so I chose "The Whale Tea" ($6.99) which features coconut. There is a yellow&red bottom layer, white middle layer, and blue top layer. See my photos. It was a simple drink but worthy of pictures. Their drink cups are recyclable. Another person ordered the "Golden Cocktail Cocoa Ice Cream" ($5.49) which is a cocoa-colour soft serve with gold leaf flakes. There is a front seating area and a backroom seating area. I suppose the backroom can be used for private parties. There is a staircase leading downstairs where partiers can hang their coats.
