Newer little restaurant in Cambie Village that replaced a little satay place that was there for several years. A few of my neighbours commented on how much they had enjoyed their meals and felt it was far superior to the long time Japanese restaurant across...the street, so we checked it out. I found it bizarre that a place that will do a lot of take out doesn't have a website with menu so we walked over to order out. Their menu was very creative and large with both standard Japanese fare as well as lists of rolls of many types. We ordered 3 rolls plus a meal combo. Staff were friendly, welcoming and courteous. Prices were fair and portions on the large side, we thought. The food was fresh and made very quickly. We just can't give it a huge rating as the food just wasn't delicious. It kind of lacked flavour. Just not a lot of zip. We will try it again as maybe our choices just weren't the best but for tonight our feeling is that it was moderately good.
