We go to Shark club 42 times a year before and after Vancouver Canucks games and have been for the last 6 years we have been season ticket holders. We also occasionally travel there for NFL playoffs. Ever since it has opened up after COVIDD...the management team there is clueless as to what events fans want to watch on their TV’s. Yesterday was game 1 of the World Series so we went there before the Canucks game to watch the World Series game and asked the manager to put the game on the big screen TV’s. He was reluctant to do so and gave us huge attitude that he had to put the World Series game on? I don’t understand do these guys not know what a big deal the World Series is? While I would respect their decision if the local team was playing but this was 2 hours prior to pick drop. We then asked if he could put the audio on as they do for football and hockey games and he point blank told us that the World Series is bringing down the “ambiance” of the bar? I told him too look around as everybody at the bar was cheering at the home run. Before I could say anything else he walked away. I was pretty appalled by the customer service as he wouldn’t even finish talking to us. I would hope that the ownership group can educate these new managers on how big a deal it is to watch the grey cup, Super Bowl, Stanley cup playoffs and the World Series are. I mean have some sort of education to why the patrons of your establishment are coming in too watch. We will not be going there again and have now decided to make library square the watering hole of choice prior and after games. These guys are just feeding off of having a close location to the stadium. Horrible ambiance and horrible service. I shared my experience with my co workers, friends, family and even other companies we were on conference calls with and made it an example of horrible customer service.
