I decided to try this pub out for lunch one afternoon. It was a busy place at lunchtime with almost every table occupied. I ordered the Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich. I chose the Soup Of The Day as my side. The Soup was Tomato, Chicken...and Vegetable. It was served nice and hot. It just tasted like Tomato Soup with Chicken and Vegetables. There was nothing that stood out to make it memorable. The Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich was a thick and Crispy Chicken Breast with a Kale Slaw, Pickles and Chipotle Mayo on a slightly toasted Bun. The Chicken Breast was nice and crispy, without being greasy. The Sandwich was tasty and filling. It was one of the better crispy fried Chicken Sandwiches I’ve had. Service was friendly and prompt, considering it was quite steady during lunch. Prices were reasonable.
