Decor 8/10 Service 8/10 Food 9/10 Value 8/10 The decor of Eat Me Thai is minimalist. Dark wood tables and chairs, light coloured walls with very sparse wall decorations. The place was very clean including the bathroom, Iy was easy to see the owner/ s...take pride in all 8-10 tables. The Service was on point but not fast. At no point was I amazed at the speed but inversely at no point did I feel it was slow or had to wait for service at any point during our visit. The waitress was quick warm and polite. The food was really really good. Everything was cooked to perfection and the flavours spot on. We had the spring rolls and homemade sweet chili sauce. The rolls were cooked with fresh oil, and they were filled with a delicate julienne of Asian vegetables and mushrooms. 4 medium sized for $7.50. My daughter had the Green Curry Chicken with eggplant (spicy) $12.95with Coconut Rice. The Curry had a surprisingly deep rich flavour with a nice balance of vege/chicken and sauce. (fresh chicken as well) The Japanese eggplant was in big perfect chunks that soaked up just the right amount of the sauce to almost make it the star of the dish. I had prawns with ginger, peppers, and mushrooms. $ 14.95 (7 large prawns) with a side of coconut rice (extra cost). Great balance of flavours. It left me wanting more for sure. Oh ya if you like spicey ask for the side of house-made hot chili sauce, Hot Hot (but not 3x hot) with a nice flavour profile. It really took it up a notch to my heat level without dominating the entire dish. The portions were a good size. I was able to eat all mine but my daughter has enough to take home. The cost was moderate and the quality was fantastic. I look forward to returning. What a great little Thai spot, hidden away up on Fraser 45th area. Its evident that both the owner and the chef take pride in the quality of every detail of their little offering to the culinary landscape that Vancouver has to offer. This is a destination if you craving Thai.
