The Coo Café Bread or Rice is a restaurant situated on Bloor Street West between Dovercourt and Dufferin. If you live downtown and don’t have a car, subway station is closed by. As you step foot into the restaurant, you are welcomed by the clean...modern setting. Every table gives you a clear view of the chef working in the kitchen. At this moment, They have 2 patio tables outside (very romantic) for those interested in eating there instead of takeout. The menu offers a wide variety of mouth-watering starters, main course and dessert. My friend and I shared Kara-age followed by Omu-rice (Must try). (Omurice or omu-rice is an example of yōshoku consisting of an omelet made with fried rice and thin, fried scrambled eggs, usually topped with savory demi-glace) Note: I have been searching Omurice for a while and I finally found an authentic place for it. All the cuisines were freshly made and that is important to us. The service was of high quality. My server was friendly and she was very thoughtful of her guests. I strongly recommend Coo Café Bread or Rice. 5 star: Excellent. Delicious food, positive atmosphere, helpful staff, and brilliant service.
