Upon arrival it was evident that the server was not aware of the seating request by the fireplace area. After a brief conversation with her, and with an outstanding effort on her part, she was able to reconfigure the tables to our request. She apologized emphatically for not reading the request, as I informed her, that I phoned in the previous day to ensure the request would be doable and that the request was written on the open table forum. The service was rare standard outstanding also. Her attention to detail, initiative and communication skills were above reproach, plus her personality oozed confidence and an attractive demeaner. All this said, I gave her a 25% tip. Give this young woman a raise. Outstanding Ambassador for The Bavarian Inn.
