We wanted to have a quick and early dinner before going to the Place des Arts. There is a large choice of restaurants around, but the group made a unanimous decision: St-Hubert. The restaurant has a street access, and another one, indoor, to the Place...des Arts, through the Complexe Desjardins. We arrived at 17:45 to get a table before our friends showing at 18:00: the place was simply packed. Long waiting line. We got a table by 18:35 (we heard that there was an earlier show at 19:00. Ours was at 20:00. Moreover, the restaurant was short on employees….), 10’ later, ordered our meal, and could see our plates 15’ more. Waiters/waitresses were flying, doing an excellent job, considering the circumstances. We had a pleasant meal, and the food was excellent. I had a Caesar salad (huge) and did have a piece of a chicken back leg (it was absolutely juicy, tasty and melting in the mouth). Others got a "double leg", combo chicken/spare ribs, and hamburger: all well served and yummy. Then, walking through the tunnel (we did appreciate it, because the weather was awful) to the Place des Arts, where we arrived on time for our show.
